Appellate advocacy is a specialty.
It has been George's for three decades.

Based in Houston and licensed in Texas and Hawaiʻi, George W. Vie III handles direct and interlocutory appeals, mandamus and original proceedings, insurance coverage disputes, governmental and municipal litigation, federal civil rights claims, and commercial arbitration. He has been Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1995.

His work spans hundreds of appeals and significant statutory-interpretation cases — from the Texas Tort Claims Act and Open Beaches Act to § 1983, Title VII, ADA, CERCLA, and ERISA — in courts from Galveston to El Paso. He regularly serves as co-counsel, consultant, and local counsel to fellow attorneys.
